Hallo, Izaladan here (Iz/Izzy for short). I'm 18 years old (Just turned 18 on January 7th :P). I live in Wisconsin, USA. I'm a avid Packers fan, and I LOVE food :)

I very, very recently started playing this game...On Sunday to be exact. I played Runescape for about 4-5 years, in which I lead a clan for about half of that time. Reason I stuck with Runescape was primarily due to the fact that I had a 2001 eMachines desktop, with 512mb of RAM...Which couldn't cut it in any other MMORPG's...I did try WOW for a weekend @ my friends house, and absolutely loved it (Was a Human Rogue XD).

Now, on this past Friday I got a new laptop (Because my desktop finally crashed, which is what was needed to persuade my mum to help me get a new laptop/desktop)...This things a beauty. Toshiba Satellite, 6gb of ram, 640gb hardrive, Intel i7 quad core processor, and AMD Radeon Graphics :)

So when I got my new laptop (Who yes, I did name Tammy), my plan was to go straight to downloading WOW...But a goodfriend of mine who co-lead my RS clan with me texted me saying he thought I'd really like LOTRO...I was skeptical so I didn't do it right away. Instead I bounced around some Runescape Private servers for the weekend, until Saturday night I just said screw it, and downloaded LOTRO. Well when I woke up in the morning, I decided to look around the LOTRO site, see if there was a such thing as Clans/Guilds in game...And I bounced upon a thread made by none other than Oaric himself. Ultimately I made Izladan, my Elven Guardian, and while still in the intro I started talking to Oaric in game...And once I beat the intro Oaric invited me, and now here I am :)

So far I'm absolutely addicted to LOTRO...Sunday, my first day of playing, I played from 10am-2am (keep in mind it was a school night). Ended up getting the Riding Skill with a horse (I earned the tp, didn't buy it), and got to level 15, got my heavy armour, and on top of that got Journeymen in the Prospector skill :)

I plan on playing this game for a LONG time, and also plan on becoming VIP within the week. And also, when Izladan is level 35+ I'm going to work on my alt a little bit, whom is a Man Hunter.

With that, I'll leave you all with a LONG LIVE THE AXES!!!

Greetings.

I'm 39 years old and live in the Atlanta, GA area. I used to play EVE Online with Fae and Levirdel.

I've played a few MMORPG's, SWG for a year and then EVE Online for 5 years. I too am a crazy roleplayer and I am looking forward to some casual gaming fun.

My wife is also playing LOTRO. Her main is Taranui and hopefully will be joining us here too!

Hey there! Figured it's time that I introduced myself. I've been playing LOTRO for about three weeks or so and decided to move here from Gladden once I heard there was an RPing server. Around here I go by Illonthos, but Illon or the like works fine as well.

I run on EST hours--mainly evenings, though I might get on during the afternoons if I have some time to spare. I can dig spur-of-the-moment RPing/chatting/whatever, so feel free to send me a tell if you're bored. Hope to see y'all in-game! :D

Hallo there! I'm Kaethe (most people pronounce it "KAY-thuh"). I'm also a transplant from Gladden server. Have a level 75 LM over there (pictured in my avatar) that just got bored with constant end game raiding. I'm here to meet new people, relax, and have fun. :D

Greetings! :) I'm Delubeth (Hathollaer, Berethdor, et al). I am a transplant from Gladden as well, and "friend" of Kaethe. Have a 75 hunter over there, among other things. I love this game! I really like the ranged toons most, but also enjoy my champ. RP has intrigued me for a long time, so I finally decided to try it out. I love the immersion in the lore, but enjoy joking around OOC as well. For me, crafting is not only a necessary evil; I enjoy it! So if any of you ever need something crafted when I'm on, feel free to ask.

Wow, a lot of folk from Gladden recently! Gladden's loss, but wonderful for us ;)

But welcome welcome to all ye newcomers! I hope you're enjoying yourselves and your time with the Axes, as much as we've enjoyed having you counted among our little band o' misfits. 8)

As for me, if you haven't seen my post earlier in the thread, the name is Dan, I'm a NY'er, absolutely love Tolkien's work, and had spent much of my youth wishing I was a dwarf in Middle-Earth. Then BAM! Lotro comes around, and here I am :)

I'm usually on during the EST evenings, as I'm also a father of two and work full-time. Occasionally I'll get on during weekend days (toddler naptime ftw), but that's highly unpredictable. :)

Good lord I ended each paragraph with a smiley face... /shakeshead

Since I havn't really done the whole introduction shitick I'm ganna give it a twirl.

Razo is a fun name, I found it on an actual historical account that contains Franknish (Carolingian) name that is supposedly the basis of hobbitty names, and I'm awfully proud of that :P

I'm Chris, 27, formerly biochem/neuroscience student/nerd and currently intern in the department of nuclear medicine of an old and dingy but very clean hospital that looks like a haunted castle, inside and outside... it's the perfect filming location for any horror movie featuring hospitals.

I live in the french canadian province of Quebec, and yes, I do speak quebecois french, which is about as unromantic sounding as latin languages can go.

I joined the axe (for the first time) back in... June 2011 i think, about 1-2 month after Laurelin opened up to NA players, had I not joined the axe I probably would have moved on to Landroval or move back to Crickhollow, which I still have many fond memory of. But the Axes is great, and Oaric gave me free loot on my first day (some hardbread from a pub vendor) which has sealed my loyalty!

I stopped playing around september due to overworking, school starting and a new, verry verry promising relationship. It wasn't a sudden decision to stop playing, but before I knew it, it was already Xmas.

Of course, though I probably was kicked out of kin for inactivity by then, I was still keeping getting email notification of application of new kinnies, and I was pleasantly surprised and very intrigued about the comparatively much higher kin application than when i was playing last.

So now i'm back, not working (due to major shoulder injuies), not interning (major student strikes in quebec), and depressingly single again, for the ? time (do not ask), and having a blast in LOTRO again. Wee!

Give a hobbit a snack, you'll have a friend for life!

Lol, I didn't realize officers received notifications when an application had been submitted. Coolio.

And good to have you back man!

Thanks!

Actually, considering that I (probably) havn't been an officer on the website for a while and I still receive them (last one was recent i think)

I think all website members receive them, maybe...

A bit late considering I joined a few days, maybe a week ago now... I don't know, who keeps track of time... Stop living in the past, live in the moment. Anyway, I don't 'need' to say anything about myself, I like people to get to know me over time by having their own views on me rather than me blabbering on about how amazing I am!

I do have to say though, here are a few names you can call me by:
Jack
Turin
Ez
Sheep-sha-... Never mind!

I do hope though I don't offend anyone by going too far with jokes, I do not intend to I just like a bit of fun otherwise I end up going crazy (crazier that is) and even depressed. It's just my way of saying I'm comfortable in this kin and wouldn't like to go back being depressed and quiet like I was in previous kinships' because I wasn't comfortable with the horrible members. I know Iron Axes had a downfall (apparently, I like to put it as learning from unnecessary behavior. As far as I'm concerned though, it's a great, socially friendly kinship where I love everyone! :D

My love for you guys: (If I haven't included you, or didn't write much it's because I don't know you that well. Either that, or my love for you is just that simple.)

Oaric - How could we not love that beard! Look at it! I could just stroke it all day, and watch the sun make your head shine! <3

Anduneth - At the end of the day, when all said and done, I'm not gonna lie to you... Just the most wonderful, kind lady you'll ever speak to! You know what I mean? Love you Andu! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 *hug* C:

Osdis - You seem like such a nice girl, often quiet but you're the sweetest person I know in this kinship. <3

Uadhol - Umadhole! :D Lol! :) HAHA Funny guy!!! No... Jokes, I love you! <3

Pindy Pringle - Sexiest Hobbit, in existence! Fun to talk to ;) <3

---

I shall add more but for now these are the people who my heart belongs to! But that does not mean we aren't friends, I am the definition of friend! :)

If anyone EVER needs help, don't be afraid to give me a call! I'm always happy to help :)
# If there's something strange, on middle-earth... Who you ganna call? Tur-in-dreith! ;3

And to that... Goodnight!
How can we win, when fools can be kings? Don't waste your time, or time will waste you.

Winter has come with his cold breeze
Oh how I missed the long nights and cold air
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Some bees hide in their trees
The fauna and flora in winter so rare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

You all mighty of all season that freeze the seas
Warm us with your artic flare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Oh great winter now that I m on my knees
The snow might have something to spare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

Yesterday was like a gentle kiss
There where so many stars to stare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

So you have brought us many diseases
Now in winter people so scare
Winter has come with his cold breeze
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Bjeornin Bjeornson is a Dwarven hunter exploring the Western lands

[OOC] I am a 40+ American (have been in Europe since I was a kid) living in Paris, France where I work as a screenwriter. A paper and pencil tabletop RPGer (mainly World of Darkness these past years) I am also into MMOs (obviously!), since Asheron Call.

I played LotRO a bit when it first came out (stopped in my early 40's, I think, did not reach 50) and, after having tried various classes, am back as a Hunter... advancing a little slowly, since I am clearing out region by region (all quests, and pretty much all deeds).

Thank you on my recent promotion to Kinsman/Kinswoman (maybe I shall borrow a dress from miss Pindy and go for the lady side!).

Waves his Iron axes!

Hello, don't think I ever formally introduced myself. I am 34 and live in US. This is my first MMO, so just trying to learn the ropes and the game is so involved it will take me another three years before I know what's going on. Been playing with the kin for a year and absolutely love you Iron Axes. Just wanted to say a couple things here.

Anduneth your doing a great job as officer. Since you became officer I noticed a lot more participation and interaction with everyone.
Turin/EZ your a slaughterhouse killing machine in the game...lol. Thank you for all your help this week. I appreciate it sooo much.
And thank you to all the awesome people that are here, Oaric, Dinkum, Pindy, Bjeornin, Sorshah, Khazgur Uadhol, Evylynn and everyone ( I know there is more..hmmm. . And welcome all the new folks. I hope you have as much fun playing with this bunch of meat pies as I do.

And if they ever log on again I miss you Berlosi, Razo and Darkhilt, thanks for your help getting me started in the game.

Well, I think my main character is now Dymlar Longbeard, a dwarf hunter. He's level 10 so far and its the most fun character out of the 3 I've had in the past week.
I just built my first true gaming rig (which thankfully easily maxes out ultra high), and a free LoTRO account was heavy on my mind during the build, being an old time LoTR MUD player.
Anyways, I'm here and eager to learn the game, see the sights, and RP whenever possible along the way.
I'm not actually a member in game yet but I should be on in the PST evenings if anyone is around then to drop me a line.
Thanks guys, looking forward to RPing with you soon.
