So I was wondering, we haven't had some events/skirms in a while now. Therefore I'd like to organise something with our EU section of the kin. Of Course USA players are welcome too! If, by any chance more NA players are willing to join, we could perhaps find some common ground where we could participate in an event. For instance, around 11 PM for EU players and somewhere in the afternoon for NA players.

This could also be a great chance to create some cohesion in the kin and to welcome our new recruits in the kin. Good for bonding y'all!

We could do all possible events: Skirmishes, Fishing, Scavenging, RP Events and maybe our kin story. Although I prefer to leave that to Oaric, as he is a part of the story. So if you have any suggestions, ideas or just wanna say something, please go ahead. We'll set the date and time at a later point when we are sure what our plans are.

Thanks for reading!

Nice initiative!

I have a question: which EU time do you mean? GMT (UK) or GMT+1 (Western Europe) etc.
(we should make sure we all know which time zone is mentioned, so we can all calculate what time that is where we are)

Ah, good question Bjeornin! Let's do GMT (Andu -1) because most players are from the UK anyways. I'm one of the few Western Europe players.

I'd love to have a 6-man Draigoch kinship run one day! Would be so fun! :)

But honestly, I might organize some RP events later on when I have made some plans. Bit busy with some art work irl at the moment but I'll be planning in my spare time, while on lotro ;)
How can we win, when fools can be kings? Don't waste your time, or time will waste you.

Winter has come with his cold breeze
Oh how I missed the long nights and cold air
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Some bees hide in their trees
The fauna and flora in winter so rare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

You all mighty of all season that freeze the seas
Warm us with your artic flare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

Oh great winter now that I m on my knees
The snow might have something to spare
Winter has come with his cold breeze

Yesterday was like a gentle kiss
There where so many stars to stare
Noble winter do as whatever you please

So you have brought us many diseases
Now in winter people so scare
Winter has come with his cold breeze
Noble winter do as whatever you please

I'm GMT and will tend to state that with the times I give.
(Probably best to assume I mean GMT anyway as I am horribly bad with time differences.)

In terms of events, I should be reasonably around for short (1-3 hour) sessions if I know about them before hand otherwise it will be luck of the draw. Will post up here if there are instances I am doing to see if people fancy coming along to lend a hand... There should be a few coming up for both Hrothgaar and Evy.

Events:

Thoughts for Skirmishes:

Firstly you have the ones where people get stuck - so Gath Agarwen falls solidly into that.
Then Carn Dum for the class items at lvl 45-50 which we should try and help people out with as well.

The fellowship quests in Angmar people also get stuck with.
So I think we try to make sure we have the time to help people with those if we can. It might even be worth creating a thread for help?.

Other events that have been run:
Scavenger Hunt - good for getting crafting items/recipies.
Fishing Derby
Some of the axes rp of course - last one I played in was Bree to Ost Guruth, scouting the path forward with people.
